BACK IN GOD"S COUNTRY

Vacation is over and back to the grind. The last couple of weeks have been spent visiting and touring southern ontario. I would never have imagined the pollution in our country without seeing it myself. The mills in Hamilton, the 401 highway! We are very blessed to be living in the Maritimes with only a small fraction of the pollution I witnessed there. People and cars everywhere at all hours of the day. Huge malls that stretch from one city to another along the higways. Beautiful farms with large acres and silos, trying to grow food in the sun blocked by brown pollution on the horizon. And, I can only imagine more factories on the other side of the border doing likewise. People everywhere, and signs that say the population along the roaside is 489,000 people every few miles. Good to get back where I can see the horizon and not taste the odor of steel being made. Where pollution is not hanging over the roadside like a cloud. Yes, good to get back but more aware of the state our invironment is in and the cost of having employment for some people.
