Herding cats in N.S.
I read in the paper today that Halifax has passed a new
bylaw
about cats. As if that were the most important thing on their agenda, I couldn't help but laugh at the post in the comment section below:
Charlotte Creamer from Halifax, Nova Scotia writes: Since it's all about the nuisance and control factors, the reason for this cat by-law, can we also start the licensing of university students who party all night, every night, screaming and yelling, up-ending mailboxes, urinating on people's lawns and generally wreaking havoc and damaging public/private property in otherwise peaceful neighbourhoods? The students at SMU have been at it now for weeks, and my cat hasn't been able to sleep a wink!
Or This regarding the 3 councilors that voted NO:
18.Cat Lover from Nova Scotia writes: Purrr
Three little kittens
Have lost their mittens
But they don't give a crap
They got the catnip AND the cheese
Their mittens are still In the trap :-)
