Finally! Days off Thank goodness I am off for the full moon! It has been a week of confusion. If there was a person with a heart out there that was troubling them this week, they also had alzheimers along with it.
Of course anyone who works in an institution with people, knows that full moons and the days leading up are total chaos. Every patient I looked after this week was feeling the affects of the moon growing. Nights and days were spent in absolutely, nonsensical conversations.
Such as " LITTLE OLD LADY: Did I wake you up dear when I rang the buzzer because of pain in my chest?"
ME: "No , I am your nurse and I don't sleep at night"
LADY: "Well since you are here, will you get rid of those robbers hiding in the closet?"

Full moons and the crazies come once a month
